JOB DESCRIPTION

Analyze existing non-punitive employee safety reporting systems (WBAT/ASAP), accomplishes root cause analysis, prepare recommendations to Departmental Managers for the compliance of corrective actions to meet the Air Carriers safety Objectives.Compile findings, data, forms, etc., and analyze results to determine advantages of systems revisions and prepare evaluation report.

Researches, plans,organizes and conducts safety training programs, safety seminars, and conferences for clerical, supervisory, technical, and lower-level management personnel. 

Confer with Department Managers to determine training needs as to type, extent and scope, schedules and procedures.

Writes material for new training programs; reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs, and recommends appropriate changes.

Administers and evaluates training program qualification tests and determines eligibility of prospective attendees.

Analyze existing systems and prepare recommendations and objectives for study and approval. Compile findings, data, forms, etc., and analyze results to determine advantages of systems revisions and prepare evaluation reports, for the review of the Safety Accountable Executive as well as for other Departmental Managers.

Prepares and distributes training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids; sets up audiovisual equipment and makes presentations when necessary.

Contacts attendees and department representatives about training program.

Schedules the appropriate classroom and prepares the physical setup.

Ability to communicate with company employees, trainers from other departments and stations by phone, in person, or through correspondence. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least two (2) years related experience.

Excellent IT andformatting skills (Microsoft Office).

Strong customer service skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience with or willingness to learn how to use Computer Base Training, webinar software and     WBAT

Good numerical skills

Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Problem solving and decision making skills

Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and priorities

Efficient and organized with good attention to detail

Experience in organizing events such as seminars, workshops or conferences
